Personalized Newborn Photography Experience in Charlotte, NC

Sofia and her staff offered the best experience that we could have imagined for our maternity and newborn shoots. I use the word experience because that’s truly what it was. It was much more than photographs being taken. From the moment that we initiated conversation to envision our sessions, she made sure that she topped everything that we asked for. From the moment that we stepped into the door, the hospitality was so warming. I’ve never been to a shoot where the photographer was so well equipped with knowing what posing works best for the shots. It’s very few days, if any, that you feel like a princess during pregnancy, but Sofia so to it that I felt every bit of that plus more while being in my third trimester. When we came back for our newborn session, the ambiance in the room was totally geared towards baby. The calm lighting, the quiet atmosphere, and the warm temperature to ensure that baby was comfortable, made for a perfect shoot day. I can’t express how much we are in love with our photographs. These are truly works of art that we are so happy to show to family, friends, and complete strangers because they are really the best photographs we’ve ever had! You would do yourself a disservice should you book with any other photographers within a 200 mile radius!!! - Kimberly

This was my first newborn session experience and everything went great. Sofia and her assist was so gentle and loving to my little princess. They made us feel so at home. The environment was so calm and relaxing not only for baby, but for us as well. Caring for a newborn can be stressful at times and I was so worried about baby being fussy, but she wasn't. Sofia is amazing photographer. She has such a sweet spirit. The pictures turn out so amazing and It was so hard to pick out my favorites, I wanted them all. If you are looking for a photographer to capture your special moment of you or love one. I recommend Sofia.

I had my maternity and our baby newborn shoot. Sofia is very upbeat and professional. I liked that everything was taken care of and I didn’t have to worry about hair or makeup or bringing my own snacks. Sofia thought of and took care of everything. For a pregnant woman, that’s very important.

Communication was great, she was clear about everything and checked in after the baby was born to help us set up an appointment. I definitely forgot.

I had a couple of specific outfits that I wanted for our newborn and Sofia made it happen with the set up! We were very happy with the way she handled both shoots, the follow up and the final products. I knew that I would regret not doing these things down the road and honestly was too overwhelmed with everything. But the whole process was very easy with NicSo Studio. Let me start with she was absolutely amazing and super understanding whenever I was having issues getting to her due to doctors appts and a fussy baby, she had no issue working with me to find a time/day that worked for us both! Sofia is an amazing and sweet person. She not only took her time and was gentle with my newborn, but she also was compassionate and kind when he wasn’t cooperating.
Her studio is very clean and organized. She also offered my family snacks and water which was very helpful specially with my other two boys.
She is a professional with all that she does! She did magic with my fussy baby and the pictures came out beautiful!

How to Reserve your Newborn Photography Session

To ensure we have a session date available on our calendar, book your session in your second trimester. Scheduling begins after your delivery, with new baby photography sessions usually happen within two weeks of birth. Provide your due date to secure your spot and adjustments are made after baby’s birth!

Newborn sessions generally last two-four hours, allowing plenty of time for feedings and diaper changes to keep your baby content.

The studio is kept warm and sanitized throughout the session, and all backdrops, wraps and layers are washed with the most gentle hypoallergenic detergents.

We’ll capture a variety of newborn poses, family portraits and all of the details that make your baby unique.
