A question I hear a lot on Facebook mom groups, from friends and family and even new people I meet is: When should I book my newborn photoshoot?
Now there are many factors that play into this, but the simplest answer as soon as you can!
I typically recommend 20 weeks as a solid booking date as you will have so much going on before your sweet little one comes! You will be planning your nursery, baby showers, everything you need to pack in your hospital go bag and so much more. One of those things shouldn’t be stressing about getting your newborn photos done. I aim to make my maternity and newborn sessions as stress free as possible. I take care of everything from styling your session, getting amazing shots, and of course providing you with quality art to hang in your home.
Another great reason to book your newborn session early is getting to know your photographer! I love getting to know my clients and you should want to get to know me! I will be handling your baby for 2-4 hours so I want you to be comfortable handing baby over and taking some time to relax.
When you book at 20 weeks you have guaranteed availability on my calendar for your maternity session which will take place between 30-35 weeks in term and of course for your newborn session which will take place 5-14 days after your sweet baby is born! I only take on 5 clients a month to ensure YOU will have an amazing experience.
