Our cake smash sessions are designed to be stress-free and full of laughter. We’ll help guide you through every step of the process, from selecting a theme to designing the session we have it all covered for you. As an experienced Charlotte cake smash photographer, I create a safe and joyful environment where babies can enjoy the experience, letting their personalities shine as they dig into their very first cake. We will have outfits ready for your baby along with a plain color drop for portraits and a custom themed setup for the main cake smash.

How to Prepare for your Cake Smash Session:
The simple answer is - you don’t need to prepare much at all! As a full-service Charlotte, NC cake smash photography studio, we handle everything from start to finish. We provide custom-designed backdrops, outfits tailored to your chosen theme, and even a custom cake—making the experience completely effortless for you. All you need to do is bring your almost-one-year-old to our cozy studio in Waxhaw, NC right outside Charlotte!
After booking your session, you’ll receive a detailed cake smash session prep guide, covering all the little details to ensure everything goes smoothly on the day. Our guide will include tips on what to expect, helping you and your baby get ready for a fun, memorable milestone photography experience.
Splash Bath
To finish off 1st year sessions we clean up with a splash bath portion to capture those cute giggles and big splashed.
If you're looking for a VIP experience, look no further. A cake smash with twins is not an easy task, but we are delighted with the final results and they are well worth the investment! One of our girls was grouchy on smash day but Sofia was able to capture some fantastic photos anyway ranging from beautiful to hilarious. Everything was well prepared and organized and Sofia is so sweet and down to earth and just a joy to work with, her passion for her craft and love of children is evident!
