Charlotte Milestone Photography Session

Everyone tells you it is so important to do Charlotte maternity sessions, Charlotte newborn sessions and Charlotte one year sessions. What about all the amazing Charlotte Milestone Photography Sessions in between?! Sweet Bridget just came back for her 8 month milestone session. She has done newborn, 3 month and now 8 month with me on my baby to birthday plan! Here is a fully 8 month milestone gallery.

Before I start touching my camera I always play with baby. It is so important to get the baby relaxed. First we start with prop shots to get baby comfortable with being in front of the camera! Even though Bridget has been with me since birth, I still have to get them comfortable in front of the camera every time! As they grow their perceptions of the sessions change as well! We always want them to have a positive experience.

Bridget’s theme since her newborn session has been purple with butterflies to celebrate her birth after a very hard time getting pregnant after her brother was born. We get creative with our butterflies every session! I love how she just looks in awe at the butterflies with her hand on her face.

Next we moved into flokati poses! These are my favorites to get babies sitting and crawling since it is super fluffy and soft on their delicate skin. Also look at those sweet baby toes!

Next we move into our last custom setup which varies from baby to baby depending on what themes I think will fit best with the rest of babies gallery! Sweet Bridget’s grandmother makes an outfit for her every session! We incorporated flowers to match the dress and momma wanted to throw in some purple tulle! How could I say no to that?!
